A manuka smoked Lager, dark, smokey and full of flavour. Like drinking liquid bacon.

An NZ take on a classic Central European beer.

Our original Lager with a hit of chilli. 

A ‘Kiwi Mild’ chilli flavour. 

Made with Kaitaia Fire sauce (subject to change)

Killswitch IPA - Indian Pale Ale

A hoppy IPA made with 5 hops, 3 malts including toffee malt giving it a toasted caramel flavour. A Ship Hop mainstay

Pride &Joy - Hazy IPA

A classic fruity hazy, developed originally for The Y as a fundraiser beer for Their Pride Youth division. It's popularity has seen it make its way into our regular rotation. 

Malts: Wheat Malt, American Ale, Big O, Rolled Oats

Third Time Hazy - Hazy IPA

Our third attempt as new brewers at making a hazy that actually worked and is now a mainstay. A lighter flavoured hazy that is great for Summer drinking.

After Me XPA - Extra Pale Ale

Living up to its name After Me is pale and light in colour, Named as such to encompass everyone that has asked for a beer to be named after them. 

Malt: German Pilsner, Pilsner

Shippity Hoppity - White IPA

A slip of the tongue and a beer is named, a very pale ale with a crisp start and a dry finish twist making it almost cider like in flavour and feel.

Uramit Lager - Lager

Timaru’s own lager , a local legend. A one hop Lager full of flavour, a great Summer beer.

Strathallan Stout - Stout

A dark rich smooth malty and chocolatey stout. Full of malty goodness. Great for those cold Winter days

Port’er’ Timaru - Porter

Made 50m from the Port of Timaru, this light dark beer is a local favourite, with hints of chocolate and fruit cake

Francis Franks Old English Ale - English Ale

Our take on an Old English Ale that didn't quite go to plan. A sweet variation on an old classic using locally picked wild hops from a not so secret location near Geraldine, off Coach road, down the river bed. Brewed especially for the South Canterbury Outstanding Food Festival (SCOFF) held in September.

Blue Lady Ginger Beer - Brewed Ginger Beer

Our take on ginger beer, brewed with a beer base infused with ginger and lemon. Trials 1 and 2 have been completed to work towards a perfectly balanced ginger beer. Named after our friend Kerri who was the original Blue Lady with her vibrant blue hair. And also the Hello Sailor Song to give it a NZ theme - Blue Lady.

Benvenue Bright _ Bright IPA

Out of necessity due to forgetting we were brewing we created a Bright IPA from the ingredients we had on hand. It has turned out delicious, a bright, clear beer with a light hop note and sweetness that reminded Matt of Sparkles Lollies. (it isn’t that sweet)

Wild Waihi - Fresh Hop Hazy

Our usual Hazy base infused with Wild Hops picked from our super secret location down the Waihi river off Coach Road Geraldine.A relaxing warm Sunday morning spent picking hops gave us a fruity hazy that has become a favourite.
